Your Pathway Program Guide...
with Next Steps!

Once we receive a signed agreement, we’ll ship the Elemental Leaders books and Elemental Churches Inventory Field Guide (90-page workbook) to you. All we need to know is how many people are going to participate (we recommend 6-to-12).​

The following steps will start...

​We'll schedule a virtual kickoff meeting with your team to give an overview of the program and answer any questions.

The Field Guide will direct your team through Phase 1—consider the Field Guide to be your facilitator—it will even tell you which pages to read in the Elemental Leaders book.

Next, you—or your assigned administrator—will get an email invitation from the Elemental Inventory website (www.elementalinventory.com) with login info. In turn, you will be able to invite your team members and an email will automatically be sent to them with login information.
In the Field Guide, you’ll also be directed to upload a number of documents (Key Information Survey—page 7) about your church’s history, financial and attendance trends, demographics and more. You can, of course, assign any of this to other staff, but sometime during the course of Phase 1, upload all the docs to the website.
Everyone taking part in the Inventory will log in and fill out (1) the Leadership Assessment, (2) the Organizational Survey, and (3) the Team Member Questionnaire. Again, the Field Guide will direct you when/how to do those.
The Field Guide will also be your facilitator for each of the 4) 90-minute group meetings you’ll have together. It will also instruct you to assign a “scribe” or note-taker for each meeting and have them upload their notes to the website after each session.
Typically it takes a church about 8-10 weeks to go through Phase 1. After you finish with all the exercises in the Field Guide and have uploaded all the required docs, we’ll schedule a date to present our report with recommendations and observations to your team via Zoom. Each participant will receive an accompanying 10-12 page pdf report.
After the above Inventory report presentation, we’ll ship the material for the next phase of the Pathway along with an explanation/description of that phase. This will be the pattern for each of the following phases: once you finish a phase, let us know and the materials for the next phase will be shipped out. The graphic below shows how many team meetings you will have during the entire Pathway program which typically lasts 4-5 months.
